1.

Visitors to the school

For the safety of the pupils, all parents and visitors must report to the security guard before proceeding to the office. We strongly urge parents to make an appointment with the teachers to avoid disappointment. All visitors coming into the school will have to sign in at the security post upon arrival. Please proceed directly to the General Office after that to seek for further assistance, unless you are visiting the school’s bookshop. Visitors are not allowed to proceed to any other parts of the school or loiter in the school compound.

2.

Entrance to the school

Please enter the school through Gate 5 only (facing the HDB carpark ). No visitors are allowed to walk through Gates 1 and 3. These two gates are for vehicles only. Gate 5 will be open at all times during school hours, unless otherwise arranged. RSS car labels are only given to the staff of the school. As such, cars without these labels will not be allowed into the school’s compound. Please park at the HDB car park next to the school.

3.

Leaving school early

Parents must obtain permission from the Form Teacher if they wish to take their child home because of sickness or other urgent matters. Please sign in the ‘Pupil Early Departure’ book at the General Office.

4.

Absence from school

Any absence from school must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate or letter of excuse from Parent/ Guardian upon returning to school. Absence from CA/SA must be accompanied by a Medical Certificate.

Communication

Parents and teachers can communicate via the Pupil’s Handbook, email or telephone. Parents can arrange with teachers for discussion sessions preferably during the teacher’s non-teaching hours.
