2017 Alumni letter
Greetings to our fellow Alumni,
The Red Swastika School Alumni Association (affectionately known as RSSAA) was formed in August 1998, with the mission to promote interaction and lasting comradeship among members; via networking, sporting and cultural events jointly organised with RSS.
A popular event is the annual School Tour, specially organized for our members. This event is an excellent opportunity for our members to come back with their families and visit the school. It also helps to promote the school as well, to their spouse and kids.
For ex-boys and ex-girls below 18 years old, you may join RSSAA as an Associate Member (Please send your request to our official e mail: email@example.com to request for the Associate Membership Application Form).
We forward to your continuous support and active participation @ RSSAA.
Ms Ngiam Ping-Shin
Red Swastika School Alumni Association (RSSAA)
Another of RSSAA’s roles is to facilitate our members with priority enrolment for their children into Primary 1, under Phase 2A (1). To be eligible for enrolment via Phase 2A(1), RSSAA has to verify and approve member's application not later than 30 June , 1 year before registration date for Primary 1 (E.g. Your child born in Year 2008, registration date for Primary 1 in July 2014. Alumni membership must be verified and approved by RSSAA latest by 30th June 2013 - Please note that processing of application will take between 4 to 8 weeks, upon receipt of application; and incomplete form or inadequate supporting documents may cause further delay). As such, the association adheres to the policies and guidelines for P1 registration drawn up in January 2002 by the Ministry of Education.
Furthermore, the association also works hand-in-hand with both our alma mater and SMC, and support activities that benefit the school. Members can return to contribute their time and services through active volunteerism on school and community projects.
Alumni who are interested to join RSSAA may download the RSSAAApplication Form, and submit this personally, together with the necessary documents, to the school's General Office, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (except public holidays).
RSSAA welcomes your constructive feedback, suggestions, contributions and support. Please contact us at our official email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
